Repeated Hemoptysis with Progressive Bronchiectasis: a case report of Lady Windermere syndrome

Bronchiectasis is a type of incurable structural lung disease with clinical manifestations of chronic cough, expectoration or recur rent hemoptysis, which is often given anti-infection and symptom atic treatment. In this study, a patient suffering from bronchiectasis with repeated hemoptysis caused by nontuberculous mycobacteri um (NTM) was discussed.

Floating thrombi in the right ventricular outflow tract

A 51-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital for an intermit tent syncope. No abnormal findings on physical examination. Lab oratory results showed B-type brain natriuretic peptide of 1044.0 pg/ml (reference range, < 100), D-Dimer of 5.69 mg/L (reference range, < 0.5), FDP of 19.0 ug/ml (reference range, < 5), and blood NT-proBNP of 2580.0 pg/ml (reference range, < 125). Electrocar diogram demonstrated sinus rhythm, left axis deviation, and ab normal T-wave.
