Many surgical protocols were modified to improve dental implant primary stability for the ensurance of implant success. However, the conclusions of applying osteotome condensation technique could enhance implant stability were controversial. The evaluated ISQs were calibrated to differentiate the stability improvement that applied by varied surgical technique and bone quality at recipient sites. Therefore, this study was aim to examine the developing patterns of calibrated ISQ values induced by osteotome bone condensation and conventional drilling technique at the posterior ridges.

Sex cord-stromal neoplasms of the ovary are an infrequent cause of androgen excess and virilization in women. We report a case of a 60 years old woman with rapidly progressive signs of virilization and indeterminate pelvic masses at computed tomography imaging.
Primary CNS malignant melanomas are quite rare as they account for 1% of all CNS tumors. The potential presence of spinal cord malignancies is worrisome when considering neuraxial techniques due to possible complications. Additionally, a history of cervical spine surgery is a cause of concern in airway management, especially in an obstetric patient.
Subclavian artery aneurysms (SAAs) are not common but with possible limb and life threatening complications. The present report describes a case of a large right iatrogenic subclavian artery aneurysm presenting with back pain, successfully treated with aneurysmectomy and graft interposition through a median sternotomy.

Myeloproliferative disorders are commonly associated with portal vein thrombosis, which can lead to extensive and symptomatic variceal disease due to the development of noncirrhotic portal hypertension. In severe cases, a decline in liver synthetic function may indicate the need for liver transplantation.
Usage of synthetic cannabinoids is associated with severe medical consequences and limited detectability in toxicology panels. We present two cases of patients with acute myocardial infraction resulting in death promptly after Indazole SC exposure demonstrating that AMI may be associated with consumption of SC and require greater awareness from physicians.
Amyand’s hernia is an extremely rare and atypical hernia that is difficult to diagnose clinically characterized by the herniation of the appendix into the inguinal sac. The reported incidence is less than 1% of all adult inguinal hernia cases. Acute appendicitis in Amyand’s hernia is even less common, with 0,1% of all cases of acute appendicitis.

A hookah (shisha, waterpipe) use may increase the risk of suffering from serious symptoms due to COVID-19. Like smoking, hookahs may exacerbate the risk for severe COVID-19 through shared use and being difficult-to-clean the long pipes and having a cold water reservoir. Social gatherings also provide an opportunity for the virus to spread.
