Treatment For Thrombocytopenia Complicated with Intracranial Venous Sinus Thrombosis and Bleeding with Eltrombopag: A Case Report

Treatment For Thrombocytopenia Complicated with Intracranial Venous Sinus Thrombosis and Bleeding with Eltrombopag: A Case Report

1. Abstract
A case of primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) was reported, in which a patient developed intracranial venous sinus thrombosis
accompanied by subarachnoid hemorrhage during oral administration of 25 mg/d of Eltrombopag. The patient discontinued the use
of Eltrombopag and received symptomatic treatment with active anticoagulation, resulting in significant improvement.

The Mooji Effect of “Osborne-Cotterill Lesion” New Approach to Concept

The Mooji Effect of “Osborne-Cotterill Lesion” New Approach to Concept

1. Abstract
1.1. Introduction
“Osborne-Cotterill Lesion” leaves an impression in the capitellum following injury or dislocation of the elbow. The clinical importance of this lesion is not yet recognized. We suggest a simple algorithm to measure its importance clinically and offer surgical treatment with bone graft and plating to prevent engagement of the radial head in this lesion calling this process of engagement “Mooji effect”.

Endovascular Superior Vena Cava Stenting As Effective Therapy of A Life Threatening Epistaxis in A Patient with Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia

Endovascular Superior Vena Cava Stenting As Effective Therapy of A Life Threatening Epistaxis in A Patient with Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia

1. Abstract
Indwelling port catheters are nowadays the main etiology of benign superior vena cava (SVC) syndrome. SVC obstruction increases the venous blood pressure upstream, and subsequently into the arterio-venous sac malformations of the nasal cavity.

Hepatitis and Herpetic Encephalitis Complicated by Macrophage Activation Syndrome in an Immunocompetent Patient

Hepatitis and Herpetic Encephalitis Complicated by Macrophage Activation Syndrome in an Immunocompetent Patient

1. Abstract
Herpetic hepatitis and encephalitis are rare but severe forms of liver and brain infections caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Often underdiagnosed due to their nonspecific symptoms and rarity, these infections can be life-threatening and lead to multiple.

Coronavirus Infection During Pregnancy and Fetal Growth: How Should We Monitor These Pregnancies? A Literature Review

Coronavirus Infection During Pregnancy and Fetal Growth: How Should We Monitor These Pregnancies? A Literature Review

1. Abstract
During pregnancy, coronavirus infection affects about 15% of women, more than half of whom remain asymptomatic. Pregnant
women who show symptoms and have risk factors represent the portion of the population most at risk of adverse outcomes.

VATS Sympathectomy for Hyperhidrosis: Evaluation of Quality of Life Before and After Surgery

1. Abstract
1.1. Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of video-assisted thoracoscopic sympathectomy (VATS) on the quality of life of
patients with palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis, specifically before and three months after surgery. Additionally, the effectiveness of
the procedure in stressful conditions such as weddings was assessed.

A DHX37 Mutation Causing Azoospermia in a Man with Sertoli Cell-Only Syndrome

1. Abstract
1.1. Objective: Azoospermia is a serious form of male infertility, affecting 10-15% of men seeking medical care. This study de
scribes the clinical characteristics of a Chinese male with Sertoli Cell-Only Syndrome (SCOS) caused by a DHX37 gene mutation,
detected via whole-exome sequencing.

Comparison of Efficacy between Nitrous Oxide Analgesia and Pericervical Analgesia in Office Operative Hysteroscopy with 16 Fr Mini-Resectoscope: A Randomized Clinical Pilot Study

Comparison of Efficacy between Nitrous Oxide Analgesia and Pericervical Analgesia in Office Operative Hysteroscopy with 16 Fr Mini-Resectoscope: A Randomized Clinical Pilot Study

1. Abstract
Pain is the primary cause of failure in hysteroscopy. It can be at tributed to multiple causes, such as manipulation of the cervical
canal, uterine distension due to the liquid distension media used during the procedure, operative procedures on the endometrium,
up to the release of prostaglandins following manipulation of the cervix and uterine distension.

Rheological Characterization of Prickly Pear Juice (Opuntia Ficus Indica)

1. Summary
The quality factors of tuna juice (Opuntia ficus indica) flow index, consistency index and creep index, were important in the rheo-
logical characterization and acceptance of this food; reducing the difficulties for technologies of this product.
